Celery Juice Recipe for Hormonal Acne.

A lot has been said about celery juice, some people refer to it as a miracle plant because it is believed to help in healing a number of health issues.  There is no scientific proof  yet and there is limited research done on the benefits of celery, but  testimonies and claims  about celery on social media platforms has been increasing over the years.

Personally  I suffered from hormonal acne for over 15 years. I tried every possible medication for acne that there was on the market, visited a handful of dermatologists and cosmetologists. But nothing really seemed to help, some just helped for a short time and acne came back all over again. I was frustrated, I almost gave up and thought I would never get rid of acne and my be it will go by itself with age. One day I was having breakfast I thought to myself that there must be something wrong somewhere, on the inside I feel there was one more thing I had never done. I was looking for help from the inside but had never taken time to study myself or never tried to figure out where I had failed, what was I doing wrong ? I asked myself.  From that moment on my breakfast table I embarked on a new journey to find healthy and lifestyle solutions  prevent and to cure the an ending acne.

I started to do my homework by researching every possible natural remedies that could lead me to the end of acne forever. I found a lot of helpful information which I intend to share with you guys in my upcoming book. I believe that there shouldn’t be anyone suffering from hormonal acne when the cure is simple.

In Today’s blog I will share  a recipe of one of the green juices that help me fight and get rid of acne. After hearing and finding a lot of claims on celery a plant I never really knew. With all that was being said  about celery I picked interest in celery and went to the supermarket got a good quantity of celery and was ready to start a new experiment.

This is what I did with celery! Every morning I juiced 4 stalks of celery and dunk it on an empty stomach, I didn’t eat anything for you at least 30 minutes.  After juicing for a couple of days I started to notice changes. I had a better bowel movement, improved digestion and  improved energy levels. What I found very  interesting was that  after juicing for a month I noticed that I was not  getting breakouts like I used to do.

However  you should  keep in mind that as you  juice and drink celery every morning  you have to keep the triggers of hormonal imbalance in check. Avoid stress, processed foods, gluten high foods if you are gluten intolerant, dairy products and sugar  the worst tigger  for hormonal imbalance. Combine juicing  with eating fruits and vegetables,  drinking  enough water through out the day, excising  and have enough sleep.

I prefer to drink my juice immediately after juicing that way, I am able to enjoy it  fresh which also means a better taste. Drinking your juice immediately helps to avoid oxidation that compromises  micro nutrient  and may also depreciate the taste.

If you have a busy schedule and can not find time to juice every morning. You can have a juicing day where you juice as much as your can and store it in the freezer or in the fridge. If you are not drinking your juice immediately, it is good to store it in a bottle or container immediately and keep in the freezer or refrigerator to avoid oxidation. The juice can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 72 hours.  Incase you find that you do not like the taste, you can add a green apple and ginger.  For better results I would recommend you to be consistent and drink celery juice every morning on an empty stomach for at least a month. It also a good idea to add it to your daily routine.

Enjoy!!
